My buddies and I try to do a guided duck hunt every year and check off areas off our bucket lists. We looked into Treasure Island because we wanted some timber shooting and Marshall and his team did not disappoint. From the second to none calling from Marshall and Zach, to Bucky’s legendary story time over breakfast burritos, down to Dustin and Watson’s boat handling in the timber, we can’t say enough about the fun we had. Be sure to ask for Big Mike’s dog handling to help you out with all the barrel burners and retrieving! It’s something to behold! Southern Hospitality at its finest. Thanks again Marshall! We’ll be back next year!

I've duck hunted a lot of places so we tried their self-guided. The birds had been there for a while so they were tough, but what TI could control, was awesome. Their pits were well brushed, their decoy spreads were big and well maintained (no junk) and their communication was over the top! They put us up in the Elk Chute lodge and it was spectacular! They had thought of everything and the food was over the top! Can't wait to go back.

This is my second year duck hunting and was me first experience on a guided hunt. I can't imagine a better experience than what Marshall, Austin and crew provided. I was part of a dog training group of a bunch of amatures hosted by a Pro. Every single one of us loved it. The weather wasn't exactly on our side, but we still had great hunts.

Yes, we shot ducks. However, the guides just made you feel like you had all been life long friends. When we weren't working ducks, we ate well and just had great laughs. Will definitely be going back!

We are already planning our next duck trip. Treasure Island is a top notch duck outfitter in Missouri. Lucas, James & Zach all made sure we were covered up in pintails and teal in the timber and in the rice field. Austin helped us reach an 8 man limit of mallards and teal. The food in the blind was delicious and all of the Treasure Island staff was very professional and helpful. It was awesome to watch Cash the dog work and chase down a cripple in the brush. Thanks for the amazing memories and great experience!

12/10 experience. Marshall was nothing but professional from the moment we began planning our trip until we left. We stayed at the Elk Chute Lodge which was awesome, but the Treasure Island Lodge also looked like it would be a great place to stay. The guides and hunts were phenomenal. We hunted with Lucas & James, Zack, and Austin - each were very professional and did everything they could to provide a safe, fun and successful hunt. The food was great - whether it was breakfast in the blind, lunch at the Treasure Island Lodge or dinner at ECL. We will be back.

Treasure Island Outfitters is the place to go. We did a self guided hunt through them and they put you in blinds that have a lot of action. We hunted 4 days and got to hunt 2 different blinds. Which we enjoyed. The decoy spreads are great and motions were included in the spread. The 2 blinds we hunted had black stones to cook our breakfast. Everything we needed, we had. Definitely will be back!

I'll keep it simple: Marshall runs a 1st class operation from top to bottom. The guides are excellent, the blinds are excellent and the Lodge is excellent. We made some memories, shot a bunch of ducks and geese, and ate and slept like kings. Highly recommend. Highly recommend.

Missouri Duck Hunt

Pit Blind Review: I rented a pit blind for three days in early January, trying something new with my group of teenagers (we normally hunt our own flooded timber in Mississippi). The TIO staff was super friendly, and the pit blinds were “as advertised”. Duck hunting was hard across the region, with most hunters accounting for very few birds. We didn’t see a single duck within shooting range, but that’s just hunting. I would only caution that the pit blinds are not a substitute for a guided hunt, so don’t base your entire hunt around them (wish I had been coached on this). We were lucky enough to find a wonderful last-minute goose hunting guide in the area, and had a phenomenal experience with that other guide service. To break it down, the TIO team gets 5 stars, but the pit blinds only get 2.5 stars, because it is hit or miss. I look forward to coming back and trying a TIO guided hunt someday.

I can’t say enough about this operation. From scheduling to you arrive at the lodge, you will have a first class experience. I have hunted with the Treasure Island crew for the last 5 years, and there is not a harder working crew out there.

For most, hunting season is a 60 day grind, but this crew works 365 days a year to make the 60 day season a huge success. Lodge = 5 star, Dining and Hospitality = 5 star, Guides and Hunting = 5 star.

If your looking for the complete guided experience or a do it yourself self guided pit, you won’t find a better place then treasure island outfitters. Best crew in the game! Highly recommend!

The guys at Treasure Island made us feel right at home as soon as we walked in the door the first night. From the hunting, to the eating, to the hanging out in the lodge, they go above and beyond to make sure you’re having a good time. The blinds we hunted were comfortable and spacious. Our guides were outstanding in their effort to put us on birds. We were able to take a good diversity of birds and had a great time from the minute we got there. 10/10 would recommend Treasure Island to anyone!
